Safety & privacy

Your face. Our problem.

Keeping you hidden isn't a setting you have to remember. It's the job of the platform. Here's how we've built it to hold up.

How the blurring works

We check every photo before any subscriber can see it. The real version goes to a private store that no subscriber can reach, and a blurred copy is what we send out. Only the blurred version travels to the person viewing.

If there's any doubt (a face we can't read clearly, lighting that isn't giving us a confident read), we pause and ask you rather than publish something we can't verify. That might mean an extra step on your side occasionally. It's deliberate. We'd rather ask than guess.

There's no back door. No admin preview, no debug path, no shortcut that skips the check. The only way the real version gets served is after the platform has confirmed the viewer is allowed to see it. Every single time.

A one-time identity check.

We verify you're over 18 when you sign up. After that, your real name and ID stay private. They never appear on your profile, in search, or anywhere a subscriber can see.

We don't track you.

No Google Analytics. No Facebook pixels. No tracking scripts of any kind, on this site or on the platform. Nothing you do here follows you anywhere else.

If a subscriber leaks your content

Every photo a subscriber sees carries a unique fingerprint we can trace back to them. If you find one of your photos somewhere it shouldn't be, you can run it through our leak-check tool and we can tell you which subscriber's copy it was.

Only you can check your own content. We don't run a public "is this photo marked?" page. A bad actor would use it as a tool to test whether something is safe to leak before leaking it. We'd never build one.

Reporting your content appearing elsewhere

If you're a creator or a rights-holder and you've found your content on Fanonymous where it shouldn't be, the fastest path is the report form on the app . Same form whether you're reporting your own leaked work or asserting ownership as a third party.
